Chyrp 2.0 has been released as a beta. Looks like a complete overhaul. It only runs on PHP5 and I recently learned that it requires the PDO driver for MySQL which I didn’t have compiled into my local PHP build. As soon as we have time to do some testing and make some backups, we will be updating this blog to the new version.

We had a few mysterious issues with installing multiple Chyrp instances in different subdomains on the same server, mostly related to file permissions, but they were easily resolved. Anyone interested in the details can check Stephen’s post in the Chyrp forum.

While we are migrating, there will likely be some issues and bugs, so please bear with us, and we will post any Chyrp related tips or tricks we discover.
